In May of 2011, 30 members of the US Congress signed and sent the below letter to President Obama, urging him to implement the Bioterrorism Act of 2002, which requires the distribution of Potassium Iodide (KI) to all people living within 20 miles of a nuclear reactor. The letter has so far been ignored.
